I Do Bidoo Bidoo Film Trailer Review
There are only a few movie trailers out there that can really hyped me up over a movie, and there are only a few of them being Filipino films, and a musical, and a comedy. This is probably the first time that I am genuinely hyped up on a comedy musical Filipino film. I Do Bidoo Bidoo caught my attention!
There are a couple of factors that makes this comedy musical a good trailer. The number one reason is that the film's use of the music of APO (APO Hiking Society) which have all been great OPM hits that reflects various aspects of Filipino life, love, friendship, and family. Then we come to the second best part of it, the cast. With two of the country's great comedic performers in its main cast, the comedy aspect of the film has already been covered. The comedy musical also featured other well-known Filipino music talents which covers the musical part of the film. By the looks of the trailer, it looks like Director Chris Martinez has woven these two elements of musical and comedy pretty well. The cinematography of I Do Bidoo Bidoo looks great. So far, I am pretty impressed with the films produced by Studio 5... the other one being 2010's Rosario. The question is will all the film deliver and live up to its hype? Well, I hope so because I will definitely watch this and will give my review on I Do Bidoo Bidoo come August 25, 2012.
